Britannia Village Primary School is a thriving multi-cultural inclusive school. At Britannia, the students learn in a safe, caring, challenging and creative environment.
The children are shaped to become independent responsible individuals who have respect and environmental awareness. Their young people become equipped with the skills needed to contribute positively to their community and be productive global citizens.
The curriculum at Britannia is rich in music, art, drama, dance, cross-curricular links, and makes good use of the local area and enrichment activities after school.
Classrooms at Britannia have interactive whiteboards and in Years 2-6 our pupils have a Chromebook each, allowing them instant access to Google Suite (G-suite). Teachers are all well-trained in the use of G-suite so they can demonstrate excellent classroom practice as well as facilitate the learning beyond the school day. In recognition of their excellent use of this software, they have been recognised as a Google Reference School.
